Cordeaux Heights (Post Code: 2526)

A suburb in the city of Wollongong, Cordeaux Heights is located on the eastern foothills of Mount Kembla with Farmborough Heights to its south. Until 1973 Cordeaux Heights was comprised 3 dairy farms which were purchased by R.W. Sheargold with an eye to developing it into a suburb. The northern boundary of housing is on Cordeaux Road which leads into Mount Kembla Village.  It occupies an area of approx. 3.4 sq km.

Cordeaux Heights was named after William Cordeaux (1792-1839) an early resident and land commissioner.
